Inspired by Hajime Kinoko and frustrated by the threat of a virus preventing me from tying people, I ventured into the forest to tie trees.
The red rope is a choice partly due to Hajime Kinoko’s inspiration, but also because it contrasts strongly against the green, creating a more striking image.
In this last image, I suspended a fallen branch. Thinking of the branch as a ‘limb’ fallen from the body of a tree, I momentarily reconnected it, giving it a sense of life… before letting it back to the ground where it’ll rot and become part of the earth once again.
